The tacos on Taco night were to die for, and we loved the self-serve breakfast with fresh fruit and yogurt! The cozy lounge was perfect for relaxing after a long day. There were great options for board games and a TV area to unwind. Just a heads up, the bedside lamp needed a little TLC, but it didn’t take away from our amazing experience! 😊

The cozy rooms are nicely decorated, offering a comfortable atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding after a day out. The shared lounge is a great spot to kick back, with a welcoming vibe that encourages relaxation and socializing among guests.
There were some issues with noise from adjacent rooms and hallways that could disrupt your sleep, likely due to poor sound insulation. The kitchen facilities were lacking in essential utensils, making self-catering a hassle, and the shower temperature fluctuated significantly, which was a bit annoying. the breakfast options were limited, and it could get crowded during busy times.

A combination of hits and misses
The location is stunning just beside the loch from our small but cozy room. Breakfast was self-serve, fully stocked with tea and coffee always available, making it convenient for an early rise.
The shower temperature fluctuated significantly during use, and the kitchen facilities were quite limited, lacking essential utensils that made cooking a hassle.

Cozy and Chill Vibes
Had a lovely night here! The room was comfy enough, and I really appreciated the self-serve breakfast. The vibes of the whole place are super chill, and the cafe serves some fab cakes and yummy coffee. Only thing was the shower temp was a bit wonky when someone else was using water nearby.

We had a fantastic time staying here with friends! The cozy communal lounge made for great hangouts, and the lovely decor added to the vibe. We explored the beautiful nature around and enjoyed visiting the ski centres, Glenshee and the Lecht. The breakfast setup was convenient, with essentials like cereals and tea easily accessible.
We did experience some issues with the shower, which didn't seem to work properly. The water pressure was low, and it was frustrating trying to shower with limited flow.

Perfect for a peaceful getaway
I found this place while I was needed a break, and let me tell ya, it was a gem. The soup and ciabatta at the cafe? Absolutely phenomenal, paired with some fantastic cakes and coffee. Plus, I extended my stay just because I couldn’t leave after only an hour. I got so many sightseeing recommendations I could have stayed for weeks.
It wasn’t exactly a steal, but you get what you pay for.
